Village Primary School Construction

Throughout northern Burkina Faso, villagers have built primary schools out of local materials (mud and thatch) in order to qualify for government teachers.  The government lacks resources to replace but a very few of these schools. NEEED solicits funding for the construction of village primary schools that meet government standards.  The cost of the construction of a village school (including three classrooms with tables and benches, a well and latrines) is approximately $87,000.

Donations in any amount are appreciated.
